PCC - Post Christmas Cardio!
Here’s a 20-25 min workout to help burn off some pigs in blankets, and it’s a build your own type, depending on what equipment you have.
Warm Up - 1 - 2 rounds of;
Circuit 1 - Cardio to get sweaty!
5 mins without rest of either,
Running, Skipping, Rower, Hula Hoop or this kettlebell circuit (5 Curl, 10 Squat, 5 Press, 10 hinge - without putting the weight down).
Circuit 2 - Cardio to get the Heart Rate high, choose one to three of;
5 mins of 30 Seconds A / 30 Seconds B
A Hill Sprint / B Rest (walk down)
A Kettlebell Hinge or Swing / B Bodyweight Squat or Squat Jumps
A Treadmill, Bike or Rower Sprint / B Recover
A Bodyweight Squat / B Walkout to Push Ups with hand walk back up
A Run on spot / B Mountain Climbers
A Star Jumps or Step / B Side Steps
To Finish
Choose three muscles to stretch and hold for 30 secs (or 30 secs each side).
